The Maryland Bass Nation kicked off the 2015 qualifying season with the first of four Pro-Am tournament trail events on the Potomac River on April 11.
Tom Cole with Ardent set up shop and had plenty of cool merchandise to share with our MBN members while Livingston Lures provided ten lucky random draw competitors with their great product. Jim Kline was the lucky individual that got into the lunker pool and found his name draw for a free Ardent reel.
While the morning started out relatively calm by the time the volunteers got finished with breakfast the wind started to pick up significantly. At one point, later in the afternoon, we were lucky to keep Tom's tent from flying up and into the parking lot.
Limits were scarce on both the boaters and the riders side but at the weigh ins conclusion.
Al Fiorille from Ulitmate Camo took the boaters top spot with a weight of 12.71 pounds and Mark Pryal from Skeeter's Owners topped riders with 10.06 pounds.
Scott Sewell with MR Bass had luker with 5.99 pounds.
Thanks for all the help from Bix Stix members Ron Hines, Mike Day and Nat Hutter and to Bass-aholics Scott Himmelfarb.
